Reproductive Consults and Services

A division of ACRS, International Canine Semen Bank Mobile-Illinois (ICSB-M-IL) is an American Kennel Club approved canine semen freezing center. We provide a full range of reproductive services to breeders of dogs and cats.

Our services include:

  • Provide extensive breeding assistance, advice on breeding dogs and cats as well as genetic counseling to dog and cat breeders.
  • We are and ICSB freezing center with our frozen semen storage right on our premises here in the Chicago area.
  • Perform hormonal timing of the estrus cycle in the bitch with our own progesterone machine on the premises with results available in about and hour.
  • Perform assisted natural breeding as well as artificial inseminations including vaginal, transcervical (TCI), and surgical inseminations with fresh, fresh chilled, and frozen semen.
  • Equipped to ship both fresh chilled and frozen semen to bitch owners around the USA as well as internationally.
  • We perform infertility evaluation and treatment on the brood bitch and the stud dog.
  • Perform pregnancy diagnosis.
  • Pre whelping radiographs for an assessment of litter size.
  • DNA blood draws for submission to various laboratories for pre-breeding testing. The OFA website offers a comprehensive listing of tests and labs which is updated on a regular basis.
  • Screens for all currently available OFA tests, including Hip and Elbow radiographs, Patella Examinations, Thyroid Screens, Cardiac (auscultation) screens and more. To see a complete listing of all OFA tests, go to the OFA website.
  • Provide medical treatment for Pyometra
  • Provide medical treatment for accidental breedings.
  • Available for both planned and emergency C-sections.
  • Provide treatment for healthy and sick neonates
  • Work with Whelp-Wise (a neonatal monitoring service) for the monitoring and management of high risk pregnancies.
  • Available for Reproduction presentations for breed and all breed clubs. Please call for availability for speaking engagements.
  • Vaccination and Microchipping of litters.
  • Sponsor CERF exams 2-3 times yearly.
