Nutrition
We believe that a key to good health is proper nutrition. We are able to provide nutritional counseling for our clients. We are familiar with all of the available dog foods and carry a full line of prescription diets for use in treating specific medical conditions. We carry a full line of Iams, Purina and Royal Canin Veterinary diets.
We also now carry the Royal Canin pregnancy specific diet HT42d. This diet is formulated for maximum fertility and support embryogenesis. This diet should be started when the first signs of heat are noticed and is continued for the first 42 days of pregnancy. At day 42, the bitch is switched to the Royal Canin Starter Diet for the end of pregnancy, nursing and weaning.
